Poem

About a week ago my cousin past away. It was very unexpected and sad. After she past away my aunt was prompted and lead to a suitcase that she found had a bunch of poems that my cousin had written. On top of all the stuff was one poem that my aunt felt she was meant to find. They read it at her funeral and I loved it so I thought I would share it.

Open your window and let out the stress,
let your body release with the winds caress.
Bring in the light to open your eyes,
nurture the soul before it dies.
Overflow sunshine into the heart,
distribute the warmth like paint to art.
From love, your body will illuminate,
pushing out intolerance, anger, and hate.
If everyone could open the window, look out and see,
what peaceful place this world could be.

Hi Jordan!

I hope you are enjoying my posts :)

Vegas!!/St. George

Last weekend I went to St. George and Vegas with some friends. It was so fun and warm! We stayed at Nate's aunts condo in St. George and went to Vegas for a concert. The concert was a band called Face to Face, which is a 90's punk band, so the crowd was a bunch of drunk retarded 30 and 40 year old men! It was awesome! It's funny to watch how dumb people are. We had a great time though and really enjoyed our mini vacation.
We got a limo ride down the strip for $15...it was so fun. How many times do you get to ride down the strip in Vegas at night in a limo? not very many!
Me, Parker, and Mason in the limo
Me and Nat on the Tram between the casinos
The buildings here are so awesome
This is what the backyard of the condo we stayed at looked like...someday i will retire to a place like this!
In St. George we went up to the rocks and climbed between these rocks that had this tiny tiny gap....it was tight but pretty cool.

We did lots of other climbing, like out of holes and down trees...good times!

Halloween

Emett was Rambo for Halloween so I stole his idea!
Me and my mom the Nun. Funny story....so this little girl came trick or treating to my parents and my mom answered in her nun outfit and I guess when she was leaving she turned to her dad and said 'I thought they were LDS...I thought I smelled smoke in their house'! Funniest thing ever...I guess my mom is a smoking, married Nun! :)
I was Rambo/2pac...don't ask how it turned into that!
My military solute.
We got to dress up at work.

Carving Pumpkins

Just before Halloween we had my nephews come up to my parents and carved pumpkins. I was working so by the time I got up there most of the fun had already happened but I got some good pictures.
My nephews and their pumpkins

Pake designed his own pumpkin but then Papa had to come help make it look right!
Emett drawing on his.
Garet and his...we all called his the Chinese pumpkin cause of its eyes!
